ADMISSION
1-Track owner reserves the right to refuse entry to any car, driver or crewmember to the pit areas or the grandstand.
2-Everyone entering the pit area must read and sign a release absolving track owner and officials of any safety liability .Enter the infield at your own risk. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign a special minor release.
3-The Speedway owners strongly recommend that children under fourteen (14) years of ages enjoy the races from the grandstand. Absolutely no children under 14 years of age will be permitted in the pit area unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian who has signed a release absolving track owner of any responsibility for said child.
4-Track reserves the right to restrict parking of personal cars in the pit.
5-Track reserves the right to reject any entry because of failure to comply with any rule.
RULES OF CONDUCT
.
1-The Speedway owner expects all drivers, car owners, crewmembers, spectators and friends to behave in a courteous manner, which reflects the atmosphere of respectable competition at our faces. This is a family place.
2-Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated! Our speedway is a family race track and not a place for vulgarity or fighting. No laser beams allowed!
3-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND/OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the pit area and the infield. We reserve the right to inspect any vehicles before they enter the infield. Any person who breaks this rule win be escorted off the premises by a law enforcement officer. No money will be refunded. No exceptions.
4-Any driver or crewmember that drinks alcoholic beverages or uses illegal drugs before or during the racing program will be fined and/or barred indefinitely.
5-Drivers and car owners are responsible for their pit crews under all circumstances. If a driver, car owner or crewmember starts trouble or is disrespectful to a track official, the driver, car owner, car and crew can be disqualified, suspended and/or fined and the driver is subject to lose up to 100 of the season's points at the track owner's discretion.
6-Any driver, car owner or pit crew member who crosses the track and approaches the flagstand or a track official during a racing program will be barred from the speedway and/or fined up to $500.00. Also, the driver may lose up to 100 points at the track owner’s discretion.
7-Should a disturbance occur, anyone in a pit area other their own will be considered at fault. The car driver win lose up to 100 points at the track official's discretion.
8-Any driver, car owner or mechanic who causes trouble or harm to others will be barred from the speedway and/or fined "up to $500.00 for each violation. If this happens during the last race of the season, the penalty will Carryover to the next season.
9-No weapons allowed on the speedway premises. Anyone found with a weapon on his person or in his vehicle will be evicted from the track by a member of the Sheriff’s Department, will lose the weapon and fined up to $500.00.
10-Any fines, suspensions and/or protests must be settled with the speedway management before a driver, car owner or crewmember will be allowed to return to the track.
11-Failure to comply with any and all of these rules of conduct will result in permanent restriction from the track. These rules apply to all drivers, car owners, crewmembers and anyone in the pit area with a car.
12-Any barring or fines win be left up to track officials.
GENERAL RULES
1-It is the responsibility of all drivers and Car owners to be familiar with track rules, safety regulations and flag signals. Please attend drivers' meetings to be updated on roles.
2-Decisions of speedway officials on interpretation of rules, scoring, flagging or racing procedures are final.
3-The racetrack reserves the right to adjust the purse in any race division having ten (10) cars or less. (See chart).
4-No one is allowed to ride in any racecar with any driver at any time.
5-Personal street cars are not allowed to run of the speedway before or after a race.
6-No cars will be allowed on the track unless an emergency vehicle is present.
7-No car is allowed on the track unless a flagman is on duty.
8-At the discretion of the track owner the racing program can be delayed or stopped because of adverse weather conditions, lateness of the hour or track conditions.
9-If it is necessary to call a race, any race will be considered complete if one-half of the laps have been completed. A winner will be determined.
10-Any race program is considered complete if one-half the program has been completed. No refunds.
11-No driver, car owner or mechanic will have any claim for damages, expenses or otherwise against the track or any officials.
12-Drivers must be at least sixteen (16) years old or have a release to drive signed by a parent or legal guardian. This document must be given to the track owner prior to racing.
13-All prize money must be signed for and picked up at payoff window following the day's or night's racing activity .The person picking up the money must sign his/her name to the sheet. Prize money will be paid in the infield for that night's racing. Any prize money that is not picked up will be available the next race night. Any prize money that is carried over more than 2 weeks will be forfeited.
14-Any situation not specifically covered by this rulebook will be acted on by the flagman pit steward or management. Decisions will be final. Speedway owners reserve the right to modify or change the rules during the season as deemed necessary for safety, fair competition or for any reason track officials feel may be appropriate.
15-No verbal rule changes will be made by any track official. The rulebook is final and complete. Any clarification, modification or change in rules will be made to all drivers at the drivers' meeting and will be posted in written form on the bulletin board.
16-Ignorance of rules will not be accepted as an excuse for violation.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL CARS
1-All doors must be welded or bolted. No chaining allowed.
2-Body alterations limited to trimming for tire clearance will be allowed.
3-No convertibles, jeeps, or station wagons allowed.
4-All cars must qualify and start race with hood, fenders and doors in place.
5-All upholstery must be removed except for one seat. All glass must be removed.
There must be a wire mesh screen or minimum of3 bars in front of driver as approved by track officials.
6-All clip-held body trim must be removed.
7-Roll bars must be installed both front and rear. There must be four side collision bars on the left side of the car and a minimum of 1-1/4" I.D. boiler tubing or high-grade steel, or chrome mo)]y tubing. No galvanized pipe.
8-All cars must have seat belts at least 3" wide and shoulder straps at least 2-1/2 II wide. Belts must be fastened to frame or roll cage. A five-point safety harness is highly recommended.
9-Front and rear bumpers must be standard road type without sharp edges. Any other bumper must be approved by track officials according to class.
10-The Speedway reserves the right to request a number to be changed on your car to avoid duplication or if the number cannot be seen properly. Since cars are scored from the grandstand area, car numbers must appear on both sides and on the top of the car, in numbers at least 18" high and in 6" numbers on right front of car. Colors of numbers should be considered and painted so as to stand out and be clearly seen. Cars should be kept .clean and neat. Any car not meeting these specifications after warning will be disqualified.
11-All classes must have cc or ci plus weight for that engine on the hood in a minimum of 3" letters.
12-Only gasoline will be allowed for fuel in all classes. No alcohol or alcohol based fuels and no fuel that will mix with water. No cooling of fuel.
13-Gas lines must be routed safe for driver.
14-NO Nitrous Oxide.
15-Carburetored engines only. No fuel injection systems. .
16-No turbo chargers or super chargers.
17-Approved firewalls mandatory .in al] classes. One between driver and engine and one between driver and fuel tank.
18-Exhaust must exit safe for driver.
19-All cars must have solid floorboards, scattershields, and automatic transmission safety blanket is recommended. .
20-Collapsible steering column recommended.
21-Battery must be mounted securely under hood or in rear of car with approved straps. No rubber straps or plastic ties. Battery may be mounted inside car, but .must be securely fastened as above and fully enclosed. .
22-Battery master disconnect switch accessible to driver and safety crew mandatory.

23-All cars .must have a track approved drive shaft loop 360 bracket: 2" Wide x 1/4" thick located in front 25% of drive shaft.
24-All drive shafts and added weights must be painted white.
25-All cars must have window net.
26-Must have tow chain or eye on front and rear for wrecker book.
27-The first appearance to speedway, car must go through Tech inspection. If car passes inspection, official will place Track Seal on dash area of car. If car does not pass, the driver or owner will be informed of the problem with Techman's approval, it may run that race and have one week to comply with speedway rules.
28-The speedway official has the right to inspect any car at any time. The competitor must take whatever steps required.
29-All cars must have a fire extinguisher or a fire extinguishing system within easy reach of the driver (LOADED).
30-All cars will be checked for safety violations.
31-Track reserves the right to stop any car deemed in track opinion unsafe to participate in track events.
32-All cars are required to have approved racing seat secured to brackets, supported from roll bar cage or to tubing chassis.

RULE ENFORCEMENT
A-Tech inspector shall be authorized to make changes from any specification contained within these rules as a situation may dictate. Furthermore, he may impose further restrictions in an attempt to maintain fairness.
B-It is the driver's responsibility to insure his vehicle meets an the safety requirements outlined above. The above safety rules are a minimum requirement and driver is responsible for determining his own persona! requirements and is solely responsible for his own safety.
C-ANY VARIANCE OF THESE RULES BY P ARTCIPANTS THAT MAY ULTIMATELY LEAD TO A REDUCTION IN SAFETY , OR AN INCREASED RISK TO ANY PARTICIPANT,WHETHER ENFORCED BY THE. TECH INSPECTOR OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY OF THE PARTY OR PARTIES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE VARIANCE. THE MANAGEMENT OF CAROLINA SPEEDWAY AND/OR OWNERS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY VARIANCE FROM THESE RULES AS PROVIDED.
RACING PROCEDURES
.
1-All drivers must be ready to compete in the events for which they are scheduled. Any cars not in line and/or causing delay in the standing of the race will go to the rear of the field. Line up may be called in pits or on track.
2-Any car considered being driven in a hazardous way in pits or on trace, or if car is considered a hazard (loose parts, etc.) will be black-flagged. Disregarding a passing or move-over flag two times will result in a black flag. Any of the above requires driver to enter pits, check with officials and correct problems before he may re-enter track. (After two black flags, laps of the car will not be scored until the driver acknowledges the black flag. After a car spins out two (2) times unassisted, the car will be black-flagged on the third spin out.)
3-Any car/cars causing a caution will go to the rear of the field. Race will not be stopped unless a flagman considers the safety of a driver in danger. Cars will re-line up by last completed scored lap. Any driver jumping the start will go to the rear of the field.
4-On red flag, cars are to return to flagstand and stop; any car that enters pit will go to the rear of the field.
5-Under red flag conditions, no one is allowed on the track.
6-Any driver who refuses to go to the rear or change any position must go to the pits and will be disqualified.
7-The track manager has the right to temporarily change car number to avoid duplication.
8-In the event that two or more cars cross the finish line at the same time in a race, the inside car next to the pit will be the winner.
9-Any car stopping at flagstand during race for reasons other than information about track condition or position will go to the pits. NO EXCEPTIONS.
10-After the race begins, the flagman is in full control and his decisions will be upheld.
11-No car can receive any assistance from any other car during the race.
12-Cars going into the pits will go to the rear of the field.
13-Cars going into the pit area under caution will go to the rear.
14-Courtesy Rules: a) If you are on the lead lap and you have a flat tire (main event), you will be given three laps from the time you enter the pit; b) If you are the lead lap, and a caution is not called on you, but you have sheet metal damage, stop at the start/finish line and the trace steward will try to help you. If he can't, he will direct you to pit road, exit near #1 turn.
15-Anyone pulling out and intentionally causing a caution on any lap or going for the green flag at the start of a race will go to the rear of the field. In the event that a race is stopped after the .first lap, the cars will be lined up according to how they were scored.
16-If two cars spin out together under racing conditions, both cars must go to the rear. If you spin out a car to gain or keep a position, you must go to the rear and the spun out car retains his position.
17-Any car coming from the pits and stopping a race or causing hazardous conditions will be black-flagged.
18-Should any car delay the race in any manner, it will go to the rear.
19-Cars and/or drivers can race in two (2) divisions in one night in different cars (not in Late Model or Rookie).
20-Rough driving before~ during or under caution, or after a race will be dealt with through fines and/or disqualification of car, driver and crew. This may include loss of winnings and/or points for the night of the altercation and the driver may lose additional points at the track official's discretion.
21-All cars must enter trace from t1n'D one and exit track from turn four unless otherwise notified by track officials.
22-The speedway reserves the right to place time limits on all divisions.
23-If a race is to be shortened, all drivers will be informed.
24-If a driver chooses to move up to another division, they do not get points for the first race in that division. After the second race in the new division, the driver will forfeit his points in the other division but receive points for the new division.
25-Drivers must finish the race in the same car that they started in.
26-All cars must race in their declared divisions. No exceptions.
27-Cars must weigh the weight limit according to track scales.
28-If you receive a black flag for conduct, it will result in disqualification, which means loss of money and points. If you receive a black flag for car hazards, you will keep your money and points.
29-If a caution comes out and you are not at fault and get a flat tire, you will receive 3 laps to change the tire. Once the flagman has signaled one lap to go, if you are not on the track, you do not get your place back.
SAFETY
1-It is mandatory for drivers to wear an approved safety helmet, approved safety belts and straps at any and all times while on the track.
2-All drivers must wear approved full body fire resistant suit that effectively covers the body.
3-Drivers must wear approved fire retardant clothing at any and all times while on the track.
4-Any car which, in the opinion of track officials, is not safe, will not be allowed to run.
5-Anyone receiving injuries at the track must report to the proper track official before leaving the speedway. .

PARKING
1-Parking for reserved front row space is $50.00. Parking for reserved back row space is $25.00.
2-The track owner has the right to change parking spaces as necessary.
3-To ensure reserved parking spaces, all reserved spaces must be properly marked with a sign including car division and car number at the beginning of the season or by the next race after paying.
4-The track owner has the right to alter parking for a1l shows.
5-If your parking space is paid for but not marked, then track officials cannot force another car to move out of your place.

PROTEST RULES
1-Only the driver or car owner may protest.
2-To protest a car, you must finish behind the car you want to protest.
3-All protests and monies must be received by the designated official at the scales and the protest must be accepted or declined by the protested car within five (5) minutes after the race is over.
4-Visual protests (requiring no disassembly or removal for inspection) must be presented to the Techman. Only one visual protest per person per night. The fee is $25.00 and is kept by the track. Visual protests must be completed before the drivers' meeting.
5-Protested car must go immediately to the protest area. If protestee does not accept the protest, he forfeits all points and monies earned that night and protester will be will be refunded 100% of the money.
6-Protest area will be off limits to all but track personnel and two (2) people from the protested car. After the part or parts are ready for inspection, the Techman, one representative from the protested car and one representative of the protester will be allowed to witness the inspection. The Techman's decision is FINAL!! All protests must be ready for inspection within sixty (60) minutes from the time the car is protested or if more time is needed it will be left to the track owner's discretion.
7-Drivers of cars found to illegal will forfeit points and money earned for the night.
8-Once a protest is filed with track official and both parties accept, the protest cannot be rescinded.
9-There can be no more than one protest per division per night.
10-The second time a car is found to be illegal, he loses his points and money earned that race and an additional 1 00 seasonal points.
11-The third time a car is found to be illegal, he loses his points and money earned so far in the racing season.
12-Removing of valves to inspect valve bowls will be the decision of the Techman.
13-Teardowns:
a. The track has the right to protest any car at anytime.
b. Techman has the option to protest any or all cars in a division even if it means two or more cars have to tear down in a class.
c. If tom down by the track, the car will receive $1 00 from the track.

If LM car A protests car B, car A puts up $450. Car B puts up $350.00. If B is declared illegal, he forfeits the race winnings and points for that night and his $350.00 acceptance fee. If he is legal, he retains his $350.00 plus $300.00 of the protest money. The track retains $150.00.
"OUTLAW UCAR" Division:
1. No drivers from Late Model or Open Wheel Modified divisions will be allowed to compete in any Outlaw Ucar event.
2. 4 or 6 cylinder front wheel drive ONLY.
3. Any manufactured car is eligible.
4. No convertibles, trucks or buses allowed. No 4/All wheel drives.
5. A Min. 4 point roll cage required.
6. All glass must be removed before entering race track.
7. Seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness required.(Racing seats and harness strongly encouraged.)
8. Stock floor pans, firewalls and trunk, etc. must be retained. Fuel tank or fuel cell may be mounted in trunk provided trunk is closed off from the driver. Must be securely supported by a minimum of two 2X1/8inch steel straps.
9. Doors must be welded, bolted or chained.
10. No modifications to steering or suspension. Suspension parts must remain stock.
11. Stock passenger-type, DOT approved tires only. No shaving or grooving allowed.
12. Engines must be strictly stock for make and model of car, and must retain original mounting position.
13. Stock fuel injection, turbo chargers, Superchargers systems allowed.
14. Automatic or manual transmissions allowed. Transmission, clutch, and pressure plate must remain stock.
15. All drivers must wear an approved helmet, long sleeve shirt, and long pants.
16. Stock intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds and carburetors/injection systems only.
17. Min. one pound Fire extinguisher required in reach of driver mounted in all cars. Must have gauge showing full charge.
18. No two-way communication or listening devices allowed in cars.
19. To avoid delays, all cars should be race-ready upon arrival at speedway.

4-Fenders may be cut only to clear division track approved tire. Area between drive and rear fire wall may be boxed in. Inner trunk may be cut out. Aluminum must not be used to replace flooring or rear fire wall. Side door panels may be cut out. No reinforced front ends. No overload springs. Adjustable shackles on rear leaf springs optional. Any car with coil springs in rear may run screw jacks on rear coil springs only. Other alterations are not allowed.
5-No adjustable shocks, no air shocks. Lowering blocks allowed.
6-Fiberglass, rubber, or plastic stock appearing front nosepiece is allowed.

7-Heads and block may be deburred to help oil flow only. No porting or polishing of heads.
8-No angle plugs or aluminum heads allowed.
9-Factory stock carburetor or 650 CFM Holley. List #4777, style 4150 or smaller. No spacers, one adaptor only. No more than 1 1/2" high, up to 1/4" base plate gasket. Only one gasket allowed. .
10-Top of air cleaner must no exceed 4" above hood. No cowl air induction.
11-Any street legal headers allowed.
12-Exhaust must exit behind the driver.
13-Any oil pan allowed.
14-Any cast iron or aluminum intake allowed.

16-CC's on combustion chamber must not be under 58- cc's. Exception: If cc's range from 50 cc's to 58 cc's, 100 pounds must be added to the car weight, which then must be 3100 lbs. after race with driver.
17-Flywheel stock type, no aluminum allowed. Clutch and pressure plate and release bearing stock or OEM replacement.
18-No larger valves allowed than a 1.60 on exhaust and 2.02 on intake.
19-Oil coolers and remote oil filters optional.
ELECTRONIC
1-Ignition system must be manufacturer's stock. Stock electronic ignition systems allowed. May use aftermarket ignition components. MSD boxes allowed.
WHEELS AND TIRES
1-Track tire (must have speedway approved stamp).
2-Larger wheel Studs are allowed.
*3-Any 10" or 12 " rim allowed.
4-Larger spindles in manufactured line optional.
FUEL
1-Fuel cell optional, stock tank must be mounted securely inside trunk of car supported by a minimum of two 2" X 118" steel straps. If stock tank is used in stock position, it must have metal loop between bumper and gas tank.
2-No electric fuel pumps allowed.
DRIVETRAIN, TRANSMISSION
*1-Transmission must be stock manufactured in line: GM-GM, Ford-Ford, Chrysler- Chrysler, 9" Ford rear end or 9" floaters optional.
2-Stock transmission must have working reverse.
3-Stock rear end differential may be welded to assure locked rear end.
4-May run disc brake on all four wheels. Stock cast iron type only.
5-Any radiator allowed. Electric fans only if body was manufactured with such.
6-Automatic transmission cars may run remote cooler at radiator, not allowed inside car.
7-May run after market brake pedals and master cylinders allowed.
*8-Brake adjuster can be in reach of driver.
9-May use hydraulic release bearing or slave cylinder. No mini clutches.
Any alterations not mentioned in the above rules must remain stock.

The cost of these cars is meant to be as economical as possible. All cars, bodies, and parts are to be showroom factory stock with no alteration unless specifically allowed or provided under the rules. If rules don't specify "CANNOT ," this does not mean you
can. Check with track official.
BODY
1-Competing models: Any 1960-1993 compact or subcompact cars or trucks with a maximum wheel base of 100 inches. No station wagons, convertibles or jeeps. No rotary engines.
2-ORIGINAL DIMENSIONS OF ALL BODIES MUST REMAIN AS MANUFACTURED, EXCEPT FOR CHANGES WHICH MAY BE NECESSARY FOR TIRE CLEARANCE.
*3-All cars must have complete bodies, hoods, fenders, and two bumpers in top quality condition.
4-Windshield: windshield should be out or replaced with lexan.
5-All doors must be fastened in an approved manner (welded).
6-Floors must be complete and in standard position. No tunnels or air ducts in floor. Boxing of interior is optional.
7-Cars must be equipped with complete set of bumpers and must be in top quality condition. Reinforcing allowed. No exposed pipes.
8-No holes permitted in the floor for cooling.
9-Hood must be standard production for make and year of car being used. No hood bubbles or scoops will be permitted unless they are factory installed for normal customer protection.
10-Floor pan in trunk only may be removed.
11-All cars will be allowed to use a non-adjustable rear spoiler provided the following specifications are observed: maxim~ height 4"; maximum width: no wider than the standard trunk lid.
12-Stock frames only. Unitized frames may be tied together with tubing.
13-Fenders and fender wells may be cut or altered for wheel or tire clearance.
14-A hole may be cut in hood for air cleaner. Top of cleaner not to exceed 4” above hood.
15-A metal, not aluminum, fire wall must be between the driver and the engine.
*16-May run after market back bumper. May run after market body, roof must remain steel.
ENGINES
*1-Engine must remain in stock location. No rear engine or rotary engine allowed. No dual cams. No fuel injection for make and model allowed. Carburetor only. No four valves per cylinder. 2350 cc maximum except when approved by the track, such as OM 151 CI engine. Engine may be interchanged within any corporate manufacturer's line. Oversize oil pan allowed. Factory stock intake or EFI intake with adapter (2" adapter only). Stock stroke, flat top pistons required. Maximum overbore .040. No porting, polishing, port matching, or grinding of any cylinder head or intake allowed. Any flat tappet cam shaft required. Stock diameter valve spring and stock size valves only. No titanium. No roller cams allowed. No 2000 cc engines allowed. Valve size -intake 1.490/1.747; exhaust 1.490/1.510.
2-Electrical system optional. Battery must be securely mounted and in a marine type battery box. All cars must have self starter in good working order and operation from the driver's compartment. All cars must have master kill switch in red within the reach of the driver and within reach from the outside of the car.
3-Cooling system: cars must carry an overflow can in engine compartment that is working and securely mounted. May run electric fan.
4-Aluminum after market radiators allowed..
5-Any valve spring.
6-May strap cam towers.
7-Holly 350/500 carburetor.
*8-May match carburetor to intake only.
TOYOTA ENGINE RULES
1-3TC engine may be bored up to 89mm. They will be allowed a 5.3mm style dome piston.
2-The flat part of the Toyota piston cannot be above the deck. They will allow a 5.3mm +/- 0.18mm style dome piston.
3-Toyota 3TC valve size max: Intake-1620; Exhaust- 1420.
POWERTRAIN
1-Clutch and flywheel: any stock type disc and pressure plate. Steel flywheel only. Hydraulic clutch and slave cylinder optional.
2-Exhaust system: stock cast iron exhaust manifold or headers allowed. Minimum of 3 feet of exhaust pipe required. Must exit to rear or side of car.
3-Transmission and rear end: heavy duty rear end recommended. Gear ratio optional. Stock three, four, five speed or automatic allowed. Cars may have approved scatter shield or steel bell housing. No quick change rear ends.
4-Disc brakes on all four wheels allowed.
*5-Suspension: suspension system must be factory stock. Rear size stock passenger car allowed for safety .Heavy coil springs and spacers allowed on front. Upper and lower control arms must remain stock appearing. Stock steering only. Shocks must remain in stock position. EOM or factory replacement only. Stock stabilizer bar, no adjustable. May run adjustable bolt on stock sway adjustable Bolton stock sway bar.
6-Spring shackles on rear optional.
*7-Screw-jacks optional.
FUEL
Fuel cell is mandatory .Electric fuel pumps allowed.
2-There must be a steel firewall sealing off fuel tank from the driver's compartment. (No aluminum allowed).
*WEIGHT
2300 lbs. minimum weight, including driver. Cars with over 2300cc such as GM 151
MUST SEE TECH MAN FOR CORRECT WEIGHT REOUIREMENTS.
Toyota -2200 lbs. Track reserves the right to modify weight requirements.
TIRES
Track tires.

1-Steel wheels only, may be reinforced.
2-May run 10" street rims.

BODY

4-Fiberglass, rubber, or plastic stock appearing front nosepiece is allowed.
5-Stock appearing aluminum or steel after market body parts allowed. Rear and front after market bumper allowed. Must be covered.
6-Rear bumper stock.
*7-After market body must run plastic rear bumper cover.
8-Minimum weight - 3200 lbs. after race, with driver.
*9-Hole in hood and hood scoop allowed. Air cleaner must not exceed 4" above hood.

CARBURETOR
1-All mid-size cars must run a stock two (2) barrel carburetor. May run holley 2 barrel carburetor number 4412 only. May remove choke, but no other alterations allowed. One base plate carburetor gasket only, ¼” minimum.
2-No adapter p1ate allowed. No four (4) barrel manifolds allowed.
WHEELS AND TIRES
1-Track tire (must have speedway approved stamp).
*2-Large wheel studs are allowed. Any 10” to 12” steel wheel allowed. Larger spindles in manufactured line optional.
ROLL CAGE
Roll cage, as stated in safety rules, may have two bars through back fire wall to frame. No reinforced bumpers. Only one bar in front of radiator allowed and cannot be connected to bumper or bumper braces.
FUEL
1-No electric fuel pumps allowed.
2-Fuel cell optional, stock tank must be mounted securely inside trunk of car, supported by a minimum of two 2" by 1/8” steel straps. If stock tank is used in stock position must have a metal loop between bumper and gas tank.
3-Type of fuel - racing gas is allowed.
POWERTRAIN
*1-Engine, transmission, clutch, must be stock and manufactured same as body. May weld differential gears. May run open air cleaner. No other alterations allowed to engine or powertrain.
2-Stock type automatic transmission is allowed.
3-Exhaust must exit behind the driver.
4-Street legal headers allowed. 1 5/8" maximum size.
5-Engine must remain in factory stock position.
*6-9” Ford rear end optional- floaters optional.
7-Aluminum after market radiators allowed.
8-May run disc brake on all four wheels, stock cast iron type.
9-May use hydraulic release bearing or slave cylinder.
*10-After market distributer allowed. Such as the Accel 59107 or compatible.
*11-No billet distributor allowed.
ENGINE
1-Any flat tappet cam. No mushroom lifters or roller rockers.
2-365 cu. in. limit (including overbore).
3-Any stock cast iron head. No after market.
4-Stock size valve springs only, from a 1.241 to a 1.273 maximum.
5-Steel roller tip rockers are allowed.
6-Any screw-in studs with guide plates allowed.
7-No larger valves than 1.60 on exhaust or 2.02 on intake.
8-May run after market aluminum 2 barrel intake on vortex head only using track spec number 2912 Edelbrock or 2901 Edelbrock.
9-May use remote oil filter.
10-CC's on combustion chamber not to be less than 62 cc's.
Any alterations not mentioned in the above rules must remain stock.
Bomber
BODY
1-Any full size American made car or truck, 1960 or later only. No front wheel drive allowed.
2-May remove front inner fenders, may cut front and rear outer wheel openings for tire clearance. No other alterations to body allowed. May remove inner body structure and left and right door inner panels may be removed for roll cage. Only glass and flammable upholstery material can be removed.
3-Inner trunk may be cut out for fuel cell onlyY2" clearance maximum. Interior cannot be boxed in. Aluminum must not be used to replace flooring or rear fire wall.
4-Rear bumper stock.
5-Body must remain stock as from factory. No after market body parts allowed.
6-Doors must be welded shut.
7-After market radiators allowed.
8-Radios allowed
SUSPENSION
1-Any OEM shock mounted in the factory position. No racing shocks
2-Chassis and suspension must remain stock. No alterations whatsoever.
3-No spacers - period!
4-Any stock appearing spring mounted in stock position. No spring adjuster. Upper and lower control arm must remain stock -no addition or subtraction. This means you can cut springs to fit (for you, Leroy).
5-No disc brakes on rear of car un1ess manufactured with same.
CARBURETOR
1-All cars must run a stock two (2) barrel carburetor, no Holley. GM Rochester, Ford Motorcraft, Chrysler stock type. May remove choke, but no other alterations allowed. One base plate carburetor gasket only, 1/4 maximum thickness.
2-No adapter plate allowed, no four (4) barrel manifolds allowed.
WHEELS AND TIRES
1-Streets legal tires not to go over a 235.
2-Steel wheels not to exceed 8".
3-Stock wheels only.
ROLL CAGE

2-Any stock cast iron head. No after market.
3-Any stock motor up to a 365 cubic inch motor. GM-GM, Ford-Ford.
4-No 300 heads or double hump heads.
5-No marine or high perforri1ance parts allowed.
6-Engine must remain stock. If in doubt, call the tech man (Pat Evans).
7-No screw in studs allowed.
8-Pinning studs allowed
9-Can run a mini-starter.
